Caught Drink Driving In Punjab? Punishment Includes Blood Donation

The first offence of exceeding a speed limit will attract a fine of Rs 1,000 and suspension of the offender's driver's license for three months. For drunk driving, the fine is Rs 5,000 in addition to the license suspension for the same duration.

New Traffic Fines Will Not Be Implemented In Madhya Pradesh And Punjab

The states of Madhya Pradesh and Punjab will not be implementing the new and increased traffic fines as of now. Both states will study the feasibility of the increased fines and then take a call on implementation later.
