Tiger Woods' public apology had the whole world glued to TV sets and in New York, investors and stock brokers were so busy watching Woods eating humble pie over his misdemeanours that trading volume on the New York Stock exchange fell to 1 million shares in the minute the golf star's speech started, the lowest level of the day.
