The CBI has moved an extradition request to bring back Nishal Modi, the brother of fugitive billionaire Nirav Modi who is accused in USD 2-billion banking fraud case in Punjab National Bank, officials said Monday.

Besides Nirav Modi, the international police cooperation agency has also issued a red corner notice against his brother Nishal Modi, as well as employee Subhash Parab, officials said on Monday.

The CBI has approached the Interpol to issue Red Corner Notice (RCN) against diamantiare Nirav Modi's brother Nishal and one of his executives in connection with its probe into the Rs 13,500 crore Punjab National Bank (PNB) fraud, sources said on Wednesday.

PNB Fraud: Nirav Modi is currently in London on a Singaporean passport. Nirav Modi's brother Nishal Modi is currently in Antwerp on a Belgian passport.
