Ghaziabad Development Authority (GDA) board on Tuesday approved the plan to extend Noida sector 62 metro route up to Indirapuram in Ghaziabad.

The Noida Authority Board today approved two metro projects worth Rs 6,710 crores along with allotting 210 acre land to Taiwan Industrial Association (TIMA) for electronic manufacturing cluster.

Noida authority would return over 454 acres of land, which was transferred to it for development purposes during Mayawati regime, back to the state. The Board has given approval to hand over the 454.63 acre land belonging to the Uttar Pradesh Irrigation Department, lying in NCR area, back to the department.
