As several parts of north India woke up to dense fog, several people were injured and 12 vehicles crashed in a massive pile-up on a Yamuna Expressway stretch near Greater Noida. The pile-up took place at Jewar on the Noida-Agra route.

The six-lane 165-km-long Yamuna Expressway, which connects Noida and Agra, has been put up for sale by Jaypee Group, according to a report in The Mint newspaper. The Yamuna Expressway, which is estimated to have cost around Rs 13,000 crore, became operational in August 2012.

Fighter jets will soon be landing at select highways in the country if the Indian Air Force has its way.
