Private hospitals in Delhi "cannot hold hostage" bodies of patients who have died on the grounds of unpaid medical bills, according to a draft policy by the Aam Aadmi Party government. The advisory also said that any private hospital or nursing home shall not refuse treatment to any patient brought in emergency condition.
