Odisha Bomb Explosion

A journalist in Odisha's Kalahandi district was on Saturday killed in an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) blast suspected to be done by Maoists targeting security personnel, a police officer said.

Suspected Maoists triggered an explosion on Visakhapatnam-Raipur railway line in Rayagada district early today, injuring one person and blowing up a portion of track that led to disruption of train services on the route.

At least 19 students were injured when a low-intensity bomb exploded inside a classroom of a government-run school on the outskirts of Cuttack city today, police said.
