A monkey trapped in a reservoir in Odisha was rescued by firemen on Tuesday night. Footage of the injured baby monkey being rescued from a reservoir in Ganjam district was widely circulated online. Firemen secured the monkey to a Life Buoy and helped the animal swim ashore. Parts of Odisha are flooded after incessant rain for the last few days.
