Off Shore Casinos In Goa

The Indian Coast Guard rescued four crew members from an off shore casino vessel which got stuck on a sandbar off Miramar beach near Panaji.

The Goa government has ruled out the possibility of having any more off-shore casinos in the state, capping the number of floating gambling dens to six. "State government will not allow more than six off-shore casinos which already exist," Mr Parrikar told reporters.

Off shore Casinos may attract thousands of tourists, but the Goa government is not amused with most of them operating without the required licenses.
