West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee today said that she will not implement the new law that imposes hefty fines for traffic violations, a day after BJP-ruled Gujarat slashed penalties.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said today that he welcomed "constructive criticism" and there should be enough space in public life for "differing streams" to listen to each other's point of view.

The BCCI secretary also said that technically BCCI is not in a position to change its point of view on the DRS issue.
