Two senior ministers in the Andhra Pradesh government, charged with corruption, have quit the cabinet. Home Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy and Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao had been named in chargesheets issued by the CBI in the Jaganmohan Reddy disproportionate assets case.

Two cabinet ministers in Andhra Pradesh, charged with corruption, have reportedly handed in their resignations late last night to Chief Minister Kiran Reddy. Home Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy and Roads and Buildings Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao have been named in chargesheets issued by the CBI in the Jaganmohan Reddy disproportionate assets case.

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on Friday questioned Andhra Pradesh Home Minister P Sabita Indra Reddy in YSR Congress Party leader YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's alleged illegal assets case. A team of CBI officials questioned the minister at her residence here for about three hours, CBI sources said.
