Pakistan On Bahadur Ali

Strongly rebuffing Pakistan on Kashmir, India today said it has no "locus standi" in the matter and its attempt to internationalise the issue will not "whitewash" cross-border terrorism supported by it.

Pakistan has denied that terrorists are crossing into India from its borders and accused India of "financing instability across the border". The claim comes a day after investigators released a video containing the confessions of Lashkar- e Taiba terrorist Bahadur Ali, who was caught in Jammu and Kashmir last month.

A Pakistani terrorist captured alive on Tuesday during an encounter in Kashmir has been identified as Bahadur Ali, a resident of Pakistan's Lahore. Four other Lashkar terrorists were killed in the gunbattle near Nowgam sector in Kupwara district.
