IT firm Cognizant today said the funeral home in the U.S has received the body of Pawan Kumar, a techie from Karnataka who allegedly committed suicide at a hotel in New Jersey recently, from the Medical Examiner's office and was ready to transport it back to India.

A relative of Pawan Kumar Anjaiah, a techie from Karnataka who allegedly committed suicide at a hotel in New Jersey in the US, today said the family will stage protest against his employer, IT firm Congnizant, for not "helping" them bring back the body.

A 26-year-old Indian employee at an IT firm, who was accused of murdering an American woman, was found dead after he allegedly committed suicide due to suspected drug overdose at a New Jersey hotel. Pawan Kumar Anjaiah, 26, a software engineer, was in the US on an assignment with IT firm Cognizant.
