As many as 30 peacocks have died in Greater Noida in the last 15 days due to unknown reasons, say villagers and veterinarians. Ten peacocks died in the last four days, said residents of Patwadi village in Bisrakh. Three peacocks were found battling for life on Monday.

Seven peacocks were today found dead near here in Andhra Pradesh, Forest Department officials said. According to Divisional Forest Officer Priyanka Whergese, the carcasses were found in agricultural fields in the outskirts of Sirsepalli village, about 35km from here. Cause of the peacocks death was not yet known, she added.
