Disgraced Australian Cardinal George Pell, convicted over child sex crimes, will get a second chance to clear his name this June, a court official said Wednesday, if a judge grants his appeal.

Cardinal George Pell has been granted a leave of absence from his senior Church post, the Vatican said Thursday in a statement making clear the Australian was not resigning.

President Barack Obama has said that he does not want US companies to look for skilled and educated workers in India and China in fields like engineering, technology and science. To prevent that, Obama said, he wants to give the school and teachers the resources they need to train and educate students in the US.
