Petrol Prices In Goa

The Goa government has announced a hike in Value Added Tax (VAT) on petrol and diesel with effect from Saturday, which will raise the price of petrol by Re 1 and diesel by 36 paise, an official said.

Ten BJP-ruled states - Assam, Tripura, Manipur, Karnataka, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand - announced additional cuts in petrol and diesel prices.

The Goa government has decided that people not wearing masks will not be given fuel at petrol pumps or ration at fair price shops in the state.
