On Friday, Sheikh Salman Patel, son of a farmer in a small town in Maharashtra, broke down after getting to know that he cleared the tough civil services exams. Two civil services aspirants from Phulambri town in Aurangabad district cleared the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination after 70 years of Independence.

Aurangabad: 11 children fall ill after consuming polio drops

At least 11 children were taken ill and hospitalised after being administered polio drops at Waghola village in Aurangabad. The children, aged between one to five years, were administered the oral polio dose by health workers at Phulambri tehsil of the district on Sunday. Around 130 children were given the vaccine all through the day.
