Government Clears Rs 493 Cr Outlay to Promote BPOs

The government has approved the India BPO Promotion Scheme (IBPS) for promotion of business process outsourcing (BPO)/ IT-enabled services (ITeS) operations across India with an outlay of about Rs 493 crore during the remaining period of the 12th Five Year Plan, Parliament was informed on Wednesday.
