Pm Cares Fund Case Hearing

Delhi High Court today listed for hearing on January 31 pleas concerning the legal status of the Prime Minister's Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund or PM CARES Fund under the Constitution and the Right to Information Act.

The Supreme Court, while hearing a petition related to making safe transport arrangements for migrant workers "irrespective of their caste, creed and religion", allowed the lawyer and petitioner in the case to pay Rs. 25 lakh so that individuals from Uttar Pradesh who are stranded here can return home.
