Lok Sabha Polls 2019: PM Modi Biopic Delayed Till After Polls, Top Court Refuses To Lift Ban On Release

The Supreme Court on Friday refused to lift a ban on "PM Narendra Modi", the biopic on the life of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. A bench headed by Chief Justice Ranjan Gogoi declined to interfere with the Election Commission's recommendation to release the movie after the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

Lok Sabha Elections 2019: Poll Body Orders Eros Now To Stop Streaming Web Series On PM Modi

The Election Commission on Saturday told entertainment firm Eros Now to stop streaming a web series on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The poll body referred to its order on April 10 that banned a biopic on PM Modi from releasing in election season to stop Eros Now from streaming the web series, "Modi - Journey of a Common Man".
