Poland Bomb Scare

The airport in Modlin on the outskirts of Poland's capital Warsaw was evacuated today after it received a bomb threat over the phone and staff found suspicious luggage, a local fire brigade official said.

Hundreds of people were evacuated from hospitals, courts, police stations and prosecutors' offices across Poland on Tuesday after more than 20 apparently false bomb threats were sent by e-mail.
