Families bid farewell to five soldiers killed by Pakistanis at Line of Control

The five Indian soldiers, who were killed in an ambush by Pakistani soldiers on the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir two nights ago, will be cremated today. Four of the jawans were from 21 Bihar Regiment and their bodies were brought to Patna at 10 pm last night in a special Air Force plane.

The Bihar government has announced a state funeral for four soldiers from the 21 Bihar Regiment who were killed on Tuesday in an ambush by the Pakistani troops along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. A compensation of Rs 10 lakh for the family of each of the four soldiers has also been announced by Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
