A 65-year-old woman was allegedly killed by her husband over debt and illness in suburban Powai in Mumbai, the police said on Tuesday.

A 22-year-old security guard was found dead with his throat slit inside the parking lot of a residential complex in Tunga area of Mumbai's Powai today, the police said.

A 25-year-old woman who was returning home after dining out with a friend was allegedly sexually assaulted by a security guard of her apartment building in Mumbai on Friday, the police have said.

The police said that the accused was having an affair with the victim's mother, and killed the child to prevent him from letting their secret out to his father. The victim's mother has been detained by the cops.

A 62-year-old former schoolteacher was raped by an acquaintance at her Powai residence on Saturday. The Powai police have arrested one Ashok Kumar (42), who hails from the victim's hometown in Mangalore and had been a family friend for some time.
