Pragati Maidan Plan

Union Minister Piyush Goyal today said that the new Pragati Maidan will host the G-20 summit in 2023, as a result of the PM Gati Shakti-National Master Plan, which will give a direction to various development plans and will also encourage investment.

The National Green Tribunal has cleared the decks for re-development of the Pragati Maidan exhibition complex in New Delhi and junked a plea challenging the decision to turn it into a world-class convention centre.

The Auto Expo 2018 organisers have recently released the exhibition site plan of the motor show venue, which will be held at the India Expo Mart, in Greater Noida. The Motor Show has been scheduled for February 9-14.

After a fire gutted the natural history museum in Delhi, the government has announced that a replacement will be built on 6.5 acres near Pragati Maidan, a famous landmark in the capital, for an estimated cost of 225 crores.
