Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge went head-to-head with Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju Monday over the Prerna Sthal issue, which refers to moving statues of national icons, including Mahatma Gandhi, from the front to the back.

Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge posted his reservations about the relocation of statues of national icons as the area of relocation within the Parliament Complex, Prerna Sthal, was inaugurated today.

Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar will on Sunday inaugurate 'Prerna Sthal', which will house all statues of freedom fighters and other leaders that were earlier placed at different places in the Parliament complex.
