Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang aka PS Golay won the by-poll to the Poklok Kamran Assembly seat by a margin of 8,953 votes while Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) ally BJP registered its first-ever electoral victory in the state by winning two seats.

Sikkim Krantikari Morcha (SKM) president Prem Singh Tamang, popularly known as PS Golay, will take oath as the new chief minister of Sikkim on Monday, a Raj Bhavan source said on Sunday.
