Pulwama Police Constable Killed

A day after three Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists were killed in an operation in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama in which four soldiers and a Kashmir police constable were also killed, a senior army officer said that the entire Jaish leadership in Kashmir Valley has been eliminated.

A police staffer has been kidnapped by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district, the police said today. State police chief SP Vaid said they are verifying reports of the kidnapping, which happened a few days after a police constable was kidnapped and killed in Kulgam.

A policeman was killed and a woman injured in south Kashmir's Pulwama on Wednesday evening after terrorists targeted a National Conference leader. Ghulam Mohiudin Mir, a former legislator, escaped unharmed in the attack.
