Pune Bus-truck Collision

Eleven people were killed today after a bus carrying pilgrims rammed into a truck on the Pune-Solapur highway, police said.

The mishap occurred last night when the bus, taking a turn towards Shivajinagar terminus near the busy Central Observatory square, collided with a speeding truck coming from opposite direction resulting in minor injuries to as many as 18 passengers including the bus driver.
