Two 19-year-old women, both childhood friends and living in the same building in Pune, allegedly died by suicide within a span of one hour, police said.

A 25-year-old MBA committed suicide allegedly because her friend with whom she was in love with did not respond to her messages.

A student in Pune, Mangesh Kulkarni committed suicide by hanging himself in his flat around 5 pm on Monday. A suicide note was discovered after Mangesh's mother returned home in the evening; he accused his friend of driving him to take such an extreme step.
