Rajasthan College Professor Arrested

A professor of a medical college here has been arrested for allegedly stalking a first-year student and altering her mark sheet in order to fail her in one paper, police said on Friday.

An assistant professor of Rajasthan University was today arrested by ACB sleuths for allegedly demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 here. Mahipal Singh Yadav, posted in the department of Sanskrit of the university, had demanded Rs 50,000 from a scholar for clearing his bills, Additional SP (ACB), Narottam Lal Verma said.
