• Baba Ramdev will spend night at Ambedkar Stadium, police on guard

  At a stadium in central Delhi near Ferozeshah Kotla, Baba Ramdev and thousands of his supporters are refusing to return home. They were arrested and taken there earlier today while protesting against black money and corruption. The police now has to figure out how to evict them without provoking any violence.

  The Centre today told the Supreme Court that the decision to evict Baba Ramdev from the Ramlila Grounds in a midnight crackdown was taken by the Delhi Police, and not by Home Minister P Chidambaram. Centre told the court the apprehension of breach of peace by the police can not be questioned by the Supreme Court.
