A lawmaker of the Nationalist Congress Party has been arrested on corruption charges this morning. Ramesh Kadam, who represents the Mohol constituency in Maharashtra's Solapur district, has been accused of fraud and embezzlement of funds to the tune of Rs 300 crore from a state-run corporation. The case was registered last month.
