Ration Office Complaints

The CBI has filed cases against two Army officers for allegedly taking bribes of over Rs 82 lakh from a civilian supplier in the procurement of rations for troops posted in Nagaland, officials said Tuesday. The action has been taken on a complaint from Brigadier Rajiv Gautam posted at the headquarters of the Army's 3 Corps.

People can give suggestions, file complaints, upload photos and videos of any irregularity in fair price shops and ration offices on the Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs' Facebook page.

Food Supplies and Consumer Affairs has become the first department of the Delhi government to open a Facebook account to address the grievances of consumers with Ration offices and Fair Price Shops, and it has received over 4,000 queries/complaints since its launch a month ago.
