  The Supreme Court today accepted Sebi's petition to hear all cases related to Sahara group. The next hearing is scheduled for May 8. The top court has stayed the proceedings in Securities Appellate Tribunal and Allahabad High Court in all pleas by Sahara and Subrata Roy against refunding Rs 24,000 crore to investors.

  The Supreme Court today pulled up the Sahara group and its chief, Subrata Roy, for not responding to a contempt plea filed against them by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi). The top court has given Sahara a week's time to file the reply. The next hearing is scheduled for May 2.

  Subrata Roy, the chief of the Sahara conglomerate, one of India's biggest groups, has been summoned today by market regulator Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) today. Sahara group officials have not commented on whether Mr Roy and other executives will follow orders to meet with Sebi.
