Rehman Malik resigns from Pakistan Senate

Rehman Mailk, Pakistan's advisor to Prime Minister on Interior Affairs, today resigned from the Senate over a month after the Supreme Court suspended his membership of Parliament. Malik told reporters at the airport in Karachi that he had submitted his resignation to the Chairman of the Senate or upper house of Parliament.
