Release Of 6 Indian Seamen

Six Indian seamen languishing in a jail in Egypt for over two years on charges of drug- trafficking have been released and returned home today. On their return, they met External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj.

External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, who is visiting Egypt, has urged her counterpart Sameh Hassan Shoukry to intervene for the early release of six Indian seamen detained in the country since February 2014.
