Jio Installs 1 Lakh Towers to Expedite 5G Rollout in India, Department of Telecom Data Shows

Jio has installed around 1 lakh telecom towers to expedite its 5G rollout in India, according to the latest DoT data that shows the carrier has more than nearly 5 times more towers than its nearest competitor. As per a Department of Telecom report, for every base station, Jio has three cell sites while Airtel has two.
