Religious Places Reopens Today

The Delhi government has allowed the reopening of religious places in the city for devotees from today with strict adherence to Covid guidelines and standard operating procedures.

Religious places across Maharashtra are reopening for devotees to offer prayers from Monday after several months of closure due to the lockdown imposed in a bid to control the COVID-19 pandemic.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath led the reopening of places of worship today by visiting the Gorakhnath Temple in Gorakhpur this morning as religious places reopened today after over two months of coronavirus lockdown.

The Tamil Nadu government today announced resumption of public transport and more employees at the workplace as it extended the ongoing lockdown till June 30. The development comes day after the centre announced ''Unlock 1", a graded exit plan from the lockdown that allowed, among others, reopening places of religious worship and restaurants.
