In Bengaluru RSS Activist's Murder, Accused To Be Tried Under Anti-Terror Law

Five men including a local leader of the controversial Popular Front of India, or PFI, have been charged by a Bengaluru court for hacking an RSS activist to death in Karnataka capital Bengaluru by a special court under the anti-terror law. The court also decided to start the trial from January 27.

A senior functionary of Kerala-based Popular Front of India (PFI) has been arrested in connection with the recent murder of an RSS worker in Bengaluru. Azim Sheriff, PFI Bengaluru president, was arrested on wednesday night, police said.

Four men have been arrested in Bengaluru in connection with the murder of a worker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh or RSS earlier this month. Rudresh had been hacked to death by two men on a motorbike in broad daylight in the central and busy Shivajinagar area of Bengaluru on October 16.
