Dewasom Board To Seek More Time To Implement Supreme Court's Sabarimala Order

The Travancore Dewasom Board (TDB) has decided to move the Supreme Court seeking more time to implement its September order that removed a ban on women of menstruating age entering the Sabarimala temple in Kerala.

A lawyer who is leading the campaign for the famous Sabarimala temple in Kerala to allow entry to women, has received 500 threatening phone calls, many of them from the US, in recent days, the Supreme Court was informed today.
