Former External Affairs Minister Salman Khushid says PM Modi should not expect dramatic results from his proposed visit to Pakistan next year as New Delhi's past experiences on engagement with the neighbouring country have not been positive.

Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid on Thursday signalled the country would soon stop receiving aid from Britain after holding talks with William Hague, his counterpart from London.

The Election Commission has censured Union Law Minister Salman Khurshid for his minority remarks and says he violated the election code of conduct. The Commission says Mr Khurshid violated the model code of conduct by making a promise of a nine per cent sub-quota for minorities and that it expects him not to repeat such violations.
