A Samajwadi Party legislator and his supporters allegedly beat-up a police constable Thursday when he inadvertently entered the legislator's house while chasing an accused. Senior police officer Sabharaj Yadav said that constables Satyendra Singh and Mehboob Ali had gone to Babrala in Uttar Pradesh to probe an abduction case.
