It is going to be difficult to retain Moradabad Lok Sabha constituency for BJP, which is in a direct contest with Congress due to consolidation of Muslim votes ahead of the April 23 election, its candidate Kunwar Sarvesh Kumar Singh has said.

Suspected burglars allegedly robbed more than Rs 22 lakh from the official residence of Sarvesh Kumar Singh, aBJP Member of Parliament, the police said on Friday.

Eight people, including seven Indian-Americans, have been charged for their alleged involvement in a scheme in which over 2.3 million dollars (around Rs 135 crore) were paid in bribes and kickbacks to executives of a medical cost management company to secure business from it.
