Three months to go for the release of VK Sasikala -- the aide of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa -- from jail, her assets to the tune of Rs 1,500 crore has been frozen by the Income Tax department. The assets are located in the Kodanad and Siruthavur areas of Tamil Nadu, the department said.
