Aamir Khan's video message at the Satyamev Jayate Water Cup Awards event in Pune on Sunday has brought the focus back on swine flu in Maharashtra, especially Mumbai, which managed to control the outbreak last year but hasn't been so successful this year.

Aamir Khan, through video-conferencing during the 'Satyamev Jayate Water Cup 2017' event organised this evening in Pune by his NGO Paani Foundation, revealed that he has been diagnosed with swine flu.

"The response to Satyamev Jayate was so strong that we felt we will take one more step ahead and focus on one topic. We decided to work on water and Maharashtra. Water is important and Maharashtra is my birth place. I feel if we respect water, water will respect us so we all need to come together for this," said Aamir Khan
