West Bengal scientist Partho Sarothi Ray released from Alipore jail

Molecular biologist Partho Sarathi Ray, who was arrested in Kolkata for his alleged role in protests against recent evictions from a slum in the city, has been released from Alipore jail. Mr Ray was granted bail yesterday.
