The Delhi government Wednesday informed the Delhi High Court that an action plan has been prepared to ensure seismic stability of buildings in the national capital in which structural safety audit of government and private buildings will be conducted in a phased manner.

The Delhi High Court Wednesday asked the municipal bodies and the DDA as to what steps they have taken after identifying and issuing notices to the high risk buildings in need of seismic stability.

Seeking to ensure seismic stability of high-rise buildings, the SDMC has started identifying such structures and issuing notices to groups and institutions to submit structural audit reports, it said on Sunday.
