Serial Killer Chandrakant Jha

The Delhi High Court today commuted to life capital punishment awarded to serial killer Chandrakant Jha in two identical cases of murder and upheld imprisonment of life till death awarded to him in a third similar case by a trial court.

Serial killer Chandrakant Jha was on Wednesday sentenced to death by a Delhi court in another case of murder and dumping the body near Tihar Jail after beheading and chopping off body parts of the victim, as his case fell in the "rarest of rare" category.

Serial killer Chandrakant Jha was on Tuesday sentenced to death for the second case of identical crime by a Delhi Court which said his offence falls under the "rarest of rare case" as the brutality committed by him shows he "cannot be reformed".
