India's largest film event, International Film Festival of India gets underway on Monday, with over 195 films from 82 countries scheduled for screening over 10 days, even as the controversy surrounding the dropping of two films "Nude" and "S. Durga" from the screening schedule continues.

The controversy over the Information And Broadcasting Ministry's move to drop the films "S Durga" and "Nude" from International Film Festival of India or IFFI's Indian Panorama section continued to rage today with two more jury members resigning in protest.

Directors Sanal Kumar Sasidharan and Ravi Jadhav have said they are shocked to learn that their films have been pulled out by the information and broadcasting (I&B) ministry from the 48th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) to be held in Goa later this month
