A boat with around 45 people on board capsized near Port Blair this afternoon, killing at least 21. According to initial reports, the boat, Aqua Marine, was carrying mainly tourists including a large group of around 30 people from Kanchipuram in Tamil Nadu.

An Italian court yesterday allowed Indian authorities to question alleged middleman Guido Hashcke in the chopper scam case. However, sources have told NDTV that a team from the Ministry of Defence refused to question him. The reason behind their refusal is not known yet.
